In its second edition, the Festival took place in the distinctive neighbourhood of Synikismos, transforming it into an ephemeral art stage. It presented an artistic programme that created powerful, immersive experiences, focused on the contemporary performing arts and was thematically dedicated to the concept of History.
The personal testimonies of the people of Synikismos act as a mirror of history and make up a ten-day festival of a strongly immersive character, through artworks from the international and Greek community: 5 original productions and 5 invited works.
International cultural organisations come to Eleusis and develop activities that strengthen every position in the field of artistic production. These include connecting the Greek art scene with foreign curators (Destination Eleusis–Athens), collaborations with international and European networks in the field (IETM Campus) and capacity-building programmes (Critique Workshop, The Festival Readings).
